Agricultural finance is indispensable for enhancing productive capacity in both small-scale and commercial farming. This study sought to establish the current status of agricultural financing by 12 registered operational banks Zimbabwe year 2019. Questionnaires interview guides were used collect data. SPSS NVivo data analysis. All participated with an average loan portfolio 30%. However, their participation lending yet reach pre-land reform maximum 91.3% attained 1999. Land tenure weather risks, as well lack collateral among farmers reduced banks’ appetite sector. The majority offered value chain finance, invoice overdraft facilities, term loans sector clients that mainly included; suppliers, medium-scale, large-scale farmers. established a mismatch demand supply medium long range 1 more than 3 years. There was low 1-3-year according banks, corresponding deficit highly demanded longer-term years capital expenditure (CAPEX). Therefore, government should aim to; stabilize currency; arrest hyperinflation; restore economic stability; address land ensure bankability 99-year Lease; create environment conducive investment climate resilience infrastructure. Local also invest human physical improve access bank credit.
